Meet Leah Calder
I’m Leah Calder, a Physician Assistant with with 20 years experience in Dermatology. Originally from Flowood, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Delta State University. Following this, I pursued my Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant studies at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. I am also certified by the NCCPA.
My career began with a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon in Atlanta, where I specialized in general dermatology with a focus on dermatologic surgery for five years. Upon returning to Flowood, I joined Belle Meade Dermatology, working alongside board-certified dermatologists Dr. Miriam Shatley and Dr. Anna Asher for over 14 years.
Beyond my clinical work, I’ve served as President of the Mississippi Academy of Physician Assistants and remain an advocate for PAs in Mississippi. Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of being an adjunct faculty member in the PA program at Mississippi College and mentoring PA students in my current practice.
Meet Lee Catherine Pickering
Hey, my name is Lee Catherine Pickering. I was born and raised in Vicksburg, MS which is where I met my husband, Hayden. I have two beautiful children, Kinnison who is 8, and Kallee-Reid who is 2. I have been a licensed esthetician for almost 7 years !! I absolutely love every single part of my job! I love meeting new people and connecting with every single one of my clients. My favorite part, is when a client notices and sees the change in their skin and has a confidence in themselves that didn’t have before coming to see me… that makes my job even better ! I can’t wait to hear from you, or to see you in my treatment room.
